Rebecca L. Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca L. Davis of Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard C. Fitzpatrick and Thelma Fitzpatrick (Johnston); her husband Charles Davis; her siblings, Terry Fitzpatrick, Margaret "Cookie" Belt and Diane Fitzpatrick; and her niece Susan Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Davis (Gara) of Parkersburg and Amy Root (Joshua) of Grasonville, MD; her grandchildren, Alexandra and James Root; her stepgrandchildren, Paige and Connor; her sisters, Shelby Fitzpatrick, Sue Zahrndt, Martha Watson and Cathy Fitzpatrick; and her caregivers, Barb Hite, Bec Lough and Doug Haymaker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery 23rd Street & Park.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Operation Fancy Free.
