He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hess, Sr. and Trixie Dunaway Hess; his brother-in-law Tom Bolinger; and his great-nephew Owen James Leffel. He is survived by: his sister Linda Bolinger; his siblings' children, Sherry Walker (Leon) and Tom Bolinger (Margaret); his sister Loretta McCoy (Randy); and his siblings' children, Phillip McCoy, Ramona McCoy, Andrea McCoy and Randall McCoy.
