With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jaron L. Rowland of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Tacoma, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 23. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandfather Ted Rowland. He is survived by : his parents, Mark Rowland (Kathleen Castro) and Vicki Hansell; his father-in-law John; his siblings, Hailee Scott (Elisha), Courtney Hamm (Derek), Brooke Rowland (JJ), Jordan Hansell, Kennedy Heater and Matthew Hansell; his grandparents, Linda, Ralph Reed, Yvonne and Elwood Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Avaree, Oakley, Cody, Isaiah, Callen, Landon, Joseph and Logan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his daughter, Dez'Lynn Q. Rowland, c/o Grant County Bank, 3 North Main Street, Petersburg, WV 26847, honoring Jaron's legacy of love and devotion to his family.
