We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 85, June Rosalee Smith of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Riverton, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse James Thompson and Merlie Vandevander (Maysell); her husband Alvin Smith; and her siblings, George Thompson, Virginia Thompson, Bessie Turner, Ruby Thompson and Dorothy Jean "Dot" Lantz.

She is survived by : her sisters, Rebecca Kline of Waldorf, MD and Betty Bennett of Cherry Grove, WV; and her great-niece Kayla Lantz of Petersburg, WV.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
