With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Edward Nelson of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lynn Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lynn Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Nelson and Anita Dunbrack Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bryan Nelson; his daughters, Jessica Bolyard (Justin) of Morgantown and Melissa Haggerty (Michael) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, Axel Haggerty and Anna Haggerty; his siblings, Terry Nelson (Janet) of Morgantown and Janice Kay Miller (Tommy) of Marlinton; and his grandson Caiden.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lynn's.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
