With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mernie Kimble (Petersburg, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mernie Kimble to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul M. Kimble; her son Stanley Paul Kimble; her grandson Zac Alston Paul Alt; and her sister Janie Sites. She is survived by: her children, Linda Helmick (Craig) of Petersburg, WV, Deborah Evans (Dorsey) of Petersburg, WV, Mary Alexander (Ronnie) of Mozer, WV, Janice "Peep" Alt (Regina) of Petersburg, WV and Michael "Mike" Kimble (Wanda) of Petersburg, WV; her sister Arvella Zimmerer of Petersburg, WV; and her pet Joey Lee. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
