We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2023, at the age of 74, Monika Fischer Flippin in Petersburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Hans Josef Fischer; her brother Hans Joachim "Butch" Fischer; her mother Margit Julie Lebeth Dahmer; and her grandmother Friederike Schuldes Lebeth. She is survived by : her husband Jim Flippin of Fort Seybert, WV; her daughters, Cecelia Teagarden (Jeff) of Fort Seybert, WV and Jennifer Flippin (Jacob Metheny) of Fort Seybert; her half-siblings, Barbara Linke (Klaus) of Germany and Andreas Fischer of Germany; her nieces, Laura Gilkeson (Jason) of Bridgewater, VA, Emily Hernando (Jose) of Greensboro, NC, Julie Levy (Benjamin) of Florida and Melanie Nevermann (Christoph) of Germany; and her grandchildren, Bethany and Edison.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you celebrate Monika's memory by pausing for a moment to share your time and gifts with someone around you, send flowers to a friend, or share a meal with someone.
