She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Joseph Simmons and Hazel Virginia Simmons (Kimble); her brothers, Norman "Bud" Simmons, Sr. and Joe V. Simmons, Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Simmons and JoAnn Simmons.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert L. Weatherholtz, Jr. of Franklin, WV and Jamie C. Weatherholtz of Petersburg, WV; her granddaughter Bailey Weatherholtz of Franklin, WV; her brothers, Mahlon "Mac" Simmons (Connie) of Mt. Airy, MD and Troy Simmons of Conway, SC; and her sister-in-law Bonnie K. Simmons of Petersburg, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
