He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Boylen and Lona Boylen (McDaniel); and his sister Bonnie Dunnington. He is survived by: his children, Donald L. Boylen (Jacky) and Diana Hymes (William) of Philippi; his grandchildren, Joyett Adkins (Daniel Arnold), Harley Hymes, Stone Hymes and Summer Hymes; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Adkins, Kearsten Adkins and Cayden Arnold Donald.
