United States Army Private First Class, Chole Kevin Bryan Kennedy, at the tender age of 19, a resident of Fort Drum, New York passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his residence. Chole was a former resident of Philippi, WV., and Canton, OH. His passing was very sudden and unexpected. He was beloved son, cherished friend, and vibrant spirit who touched the lives of all that knew him.

He was born on February 27, 2006, in Canton, OH., a son to Kevin Bryan Kennedy, and his wife April of Fairmont, and Lacey Nichole Mayle of Philippi.

Chole leaves behind his siblings; Domonic Reynolds, Darrius Reynolds, and Jaylssa Reynolds all of Philippi, Matthew Smith of Finton, VA, Teresa Greenway, VA., Lexi Delp, Harrisonburg, VA., and Elijah Delp of Robinson, IL.; maternal grandfather, Leo Mayle, uncles; John Johnson, Robbie Johnson, Alan Johnson, Mike Johnson, and John Mayle, aunts; Wendy Howard, Trevia Kennedy, Debbie Mayle, Mary Mayle, and Melinda Mayle, best friend from childhood until passing, Tyler Adams, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Dolly Mayle and his paternal grandparents; Frank and Wilma Mayle.

Mr. Kennedy was Christian of faith, he attended the schools of Barbour County in WV, and Stark County OH; he then joined the United States Army, where he served our country until his death. His cell phone was his life, he was on social media, played games, video games. When he wasn't playing on his phone he walked, rode four wheelers and dirt bikes, and hung out with his friends. While growing up history was his favorite subject in school, he thought about going to college to be a history teacher, however he decided that there wasn't enough pay for him. He wanted his family and friends to be proud of him and his accomplishments. Although his life was way too short to see what his next journey in life was going to bring him, his parents, family, and friends are very proud of him for making the best decision he ever made. Chole's infectious smile and kind heart were a source of joy to those around him. He had the unique ability to bring laughter and comfort to every situation and was a beacon of hope for his family and friends.
