She was predeceased by: her parents, Stonewall Runyon and Mary Lanford Runyon; her husband Robert L. Houchins, Sr.; her son Robert L. "Bobby Lee" Houchins, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Thomas, Jack of Bob, J. W. and Teddy Runyon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sue Hosford (Paul) of Concord, NC, Daniel Ray "Boone" Houchins (Mary) of Lerona, WV and Rita Faye Blackburn (Gary) of Oak Hill, WV; her grandchildren, Alicia, Micahi, Noah Houchins, Jesse Dawson (Heather), Desiree Jones, Hunter Houchins (Mercedes) and Hannah Houchins; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Maria, Harleigh, Brody, Lara, Koley, Jevin, Eva and Ivy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
