He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Jarvis and Imogene Jarvis of South Charleston; his former life partner Marjorie Payne; his daughter Elizabeth Ann; his brother Errol Jarvis; his brothers-in-law, Earl Hendrick, Pete Jones, Eddie Johnson and Mike Melkus; his nephews, Todd Arthur and Lee Kendrick; and his friend Donald "Windy" Withrow.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Jarvis (Cogan); his daughter Carolyn Hawley (Scott); his grandchildren, Olivia Richardson (Josiah), Nash Hawley and Aidan Hawley; his sisters, Margaret Hendrick, Rae Jones, Luanna Johnson, Sharon Bush (Ron), Linda Arthur (David) and Marlena Melkus; his sister-in-law Carolyn Duncan; his son Gary; and his friends, Elaine Harris and Ray Pauley.
