She was predeceased by: her parent Orville Kenneth "Buck" Sturgeon; her former husband David R. Winkler; her granddaughter Shelley Winkler; and her sister Helen S. Sturgeon. She is survived by: her parent Hilda Ona Sturgeon (Blake); her husband Charles W. Fulks of Point Pleasant; her son David R. Winkler; her daughter-in-law Shasta Winkler of Sherrills Ford, NC; her daughter Brenda Box; her son-in-law Ted Box of Mason; her stepdaughter Emily Spires of Gallipolis, OH; her siblings, Evalee Shank of Gallipolis, OH, Evelyn Rorrer (George) of Bidwell, OH, Ruth Ann Wallace (William) of Columbia, SC, Etta Sue Sturgeon of Gallipolis, OH and Howard S. Sturgeon of Huntington, WV; and her grandchildren, Moriah Winkler Edminson, Aubrey Winkler, Garrett Winkler (Brandy) and Payton Winkler (Danielle).
