He is survived by: his sister Bessie Smith; his children, Dalena Smith (Kevin), Vernon McCarthy (Kristy), Timothy Miles-McCarthy (Rick), William McCarthy and Dale McCarthy Jr. (Tonya); his grandchildren, Sabreanna, Alexis, Ethan, Nikki, Kasey, Morgan, Molly, Lainey, Atalie, Dakota, Ashley, Kylee, Mitchell, Camie, Jessica, Sydney and Jena; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Carson; and his sister-in-law Gloria McCarthy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
