She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Newell Sr. and Freda Ellan Rayburn Newell; her siblings, Donald Newell, Nelson Ray Newell, Betty Miller, Roy Newell Jr., Robert Newell and Fiance Leon Parker; her grandson Carl Richard Salyers Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Donald E. Johnson I and Carl Richard Salyers Sr. Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Alfreda M Hupp (Carl Roush), Peggy Johnson and Gerlinda Salyers; her grandchildren, Amanda L. Hupp, Michael A. Hupp, Donald E. Johnson II, Sasha Johnson and Korissa Janell Salyers; and her great grandchildren, Ava Sprouse, Mathew Atha, Michael Atha, Alicia, Katie, Zoey, Piston and Harper. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
