With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar Franklin Gerlach (Point Pleasant, West Virginia), who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence R. Gerlach and Mary Kathryn Gerlach (Boggess); and his siblings, Lawrence R. Gerlach, Jr. and Mary Ellen Wischner (Gerlach). He is survived by: his wife Alice; his grandmother Garrison; his children, Paul Gerlach, Stephanie Visnic (Bill), Jennifer Dayo (Mateo) and Kimberly Colebank (Clifton); and his grandchildren, Alex, Adrian, Ashley, Caleb, Wil, Rylee, Zach, Ethan and Angel.
The family wishes to thank the loving staff of Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation for his excellent care, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when the family could not be with him.
