He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Newman and Enna Newman (Hughes). He is survived by: his wife Dixie; his sister Ann; and his brothers-in-law, George Rawson of Point Pleasant and Don (Anna Hudson) of Southside. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
