We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 82, Shirley Burkett of Points, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Burkett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband James H. Burkett Jr.; her son Mark "Scott" Burkett; and her siblings, Eileen Wagoner and Johnny Pownall. She is survived by : her children, James Michael Burkett (Kassandra) of Keyser, WV, Kathy Owens (Junior) of Shanks, WV, Stephen A. Burkett (Lori Ann) of Augusta, WV, Kevin Burkett (Mary) of Romney, WV and Dereck Burkett (Sandy) of Points, WV; and her siblings, Richard "Dickie" Pownall of Gerradsville, MD, Doris Fields of Springfield, WV, Paul Pownall of Romney, WV and Betty Lease of Apache Junction, Arizona. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
