She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Ona Wheeler; her husband Phillip Edward Adkins; and her siblings, Paul Wheeler, Robert Wheeler, Frank Wheeler, Bertha Wheeler, Mildred Trosper Rudd, Maxine Starkey and Freda Mae Duty.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Lee Adkins, Billy Joe Adkins (Pam), John Adkins (Mary), Ray Adkins and Gloria Adkins Van (Jim); and her brother Bill Wheeler. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren.
