She was predeceased by: her parents, Pendleton Doss and Beatrice Green Doss; and her husband Raymond Farley. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Halsey and James Carter; and her sister Jacquelene Colvard. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family requests no flowers.
