We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2021, at the age of 83, George Walter Ayers Jr. of Rainelle, West Virginia, born in Sandstone, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Ayers and Permellia Agnes Taylor Ayers; and his siblings, Elizabeth Sue Adkins, Doris Burnett, Sybil Shackelford, Madaline Walker, Richard Ellis Ayers, Bernard Lewis Ayers and Grover Ayers.

He is survived by: his brother Cecil Ayers (Brenda) of Tenn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
