She was predeceased by : her parents, Hayden Hart and Julia Ball Morgan of Ravenswood, WV.; her husband Donald E. Backman; and her siblings, Clara Virginia Morgan Bartsch, Hayden Hart Morgan, Jr., Mason Tell Morgan, Steven Jay Morgan, Marcus Lee Morgan and Evan Scott Morgan.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Lee Backman Zarro (Valeriano) and Carl Edward Morgan Backman (Alysia); her grandchildren, Greta Zarro and Memphis Backman; and her siblings, William Gene Morgan (Jeanette) and Lois Diane Morgan Sheppard (Michael). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
