It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donita Lea Chaney of Ravenswood, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Virginia Ann Davis Carpenter and Robert Carpenter. She is survived by : her husband Lonnie; her children, Dustin Chaney and Kayla Chaney; her grandchildren, Van Chaney, Emmerson Chaney, Adalyn Chaney, Arrow Chaney, Nicola Chaney, Raven Chaney, Charlotte, Coraline and Cooper Chaney; and her siblings, Jackson Carpenter, Michelle Shirley, Tammy Barker and Laura Hafer.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Roush Funeral Home (205 S Ritchie Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
