She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Charlotte Lee Brown; her daughters, Marie Genovese and Valerie Bates; and her grandchildren, Michael Simpson, Deborah Pierce, Stephen Hettich and Walter Hettich.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law James Kane of Ravenswood; her son William Hale of Ravenswood; her sister Phyllis Austin of Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Nikki Dejerinett of Maryland, Tina Arnold of Florida, Chad Hale of Georgia and Gatlin Bates of Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
