With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Francis Paxton (Ravenswood, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 85. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Linda Francis leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Linda Francis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Ward and Edna Warden Philbrick; and her granddaughters, Cassie Paxton and Chrissy Paxton. She is survived by: her sons, Leonard Paxton (Kathy) of LaPorte, IN and Brian Paxton (Jennifer) of Ravenswood, WV; her grandsons, Tyler Paxton and Josh Paxton; her siblings, Don Philbrick and Joyce Stover; and her close friend Jim Bartsch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
