She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hobart Gorrell and L. Blanche Mills Gorrell; her husband Curtis W. Rhodes; and her siblings, William "Sam" Gorrell, Jr., Phyllis Emofern "Red" Gentry and Jane Maralee Cogar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Pepper of Ravenswood, WV, Rhonda Staats (Jim) of Vienna, WV, Deborah Conner of Canal Winchester, OH, Susan Weyer (Kevin) of Richmond, TX and Tammi Brown (Scotty) of Fenwick, WV; and her close friends, Tammy Riffle, Sandy Smith and Phyllis Simmons of Ravenswood, WV. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
