He is survived by : his wife Patty Jo Woody McPherson of Raysal, WV; his children, Kristy Monroe (Dale) of Georgetown, DE, Kimberly Rapponeau (Alex) of Grand Island, NE, Jessica Copes of Raysal, WV, Brad McPherson (Kelly) of Georgetown, DE, Matthew McPherson of Dallas, TX and Rob VanAernem of Wytheville, VA; his siblings, Janet McPherson of Milford, DE and Jerry McPherson of Milford, DE.; and his siblings-in-law, June Rife (Gary) of Louisa, VA and Freddy Woody of Madison, VA. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
