He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Guy Mitchell and Madeline Florence Mitchell (Sinnett); his siblings, Lena Smith, Rebecca Mowery, Jerry Wayne and Gerald Lane Mitchell; and his half-brother Stanley Mitchell.
He is survived by : his wife Patricia Mitchell (Dahmer); his children, Harvey O. Mitchell, Jr. (Joelle) of Madison, AL and Connie Mitchell-Joe of Ripley; his grandchildren, Amelia Mitchell A and Quinn Mitchell; and his siblings, Louella Hairfield, Sandra Whetzel (Cletus) and Darrell Mitchell (Vickie). He is also survived by Several nieces and a nephew.
Due to COVID-19, the family will have a private graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin with Mike Blankenship officiating.
