He was predeceased by : his father Joseph John Rogers, Sr. of Stratford, CT. He is survived by : his mother Sophie Rogers (Lucas) of Stratford, CT; his wife Elizabeth (DeFelice); his children, Danielle Rogers of Manassas, VA, Cortney LeMasurier (Martin) of Canaan, CT and Jared Rogers of Ravenswood, WV; his grandchildren, Maggie, Daisy and Callie; and his pet Buster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations can be made to the Jackson County WV Animal Shelter, 88 County Farm Road, Cottageville, WV 25239.
