He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Colbert Owens and Mabel M. Kincaid Owens McCloud; his wife Wanda L. Michael Owens; his brothers, Edward Owens and Donald (Louise Owens); his children-in-law, Toby Owens and Kenneth Murphey; and his sister-in-law Rose Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Garry (Sue Owens) of Michigan, Larry Owens of South Carolina, Michael (Kristen Owens) of Pennsylvania, Candy (Roy Weese) of Rivesville and Michelle Murphey of Fairmont; and his brother Durward Owens (Anne) of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
