He was predeceased by: his parents, Meritt Friese and Laura Friese (Cale); his brothers, Robert Friese and Edward Friese; his son William A Friese; his grandson William Edward Friese; and his great great grandchild Eli Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara I. Friese (VanFossen); and his children, Rhonda Owens (Charlie) of Rockport, WV and Christopher Friese (Jamie) of Rockport, WV. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
