He is survived by: his close friend Nellie Brown King; his siblings, Cynthia Evans (Chris) of Ronceverte, WV, Cathy Pitsenbarger (Lee) of Ronceverte, WV, David Vance Sampson (Kathy) of Lewisburg, WV and Stephen "Pick" Sampson (Tip) of Lewisburg, WV; his stepfather John Tomlinson; Stormy. He is also survived by 1 step-daughter and 2 step-sons.
