He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Kessler and Opal Kessler; his brothers, Dallas, Joe and Dale Kessler; his son Wilson Ruff; and his stepbrother Lee Avis.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon K. Kessler; his children, Katie (Carl Chapman), Misty (Pete Entzminger), Eddie (Peggy Kessler), Jackie Kessler, Robert (Mia Kessler), Michael (Kaitlyn Vance), Darrel Vance and Andrew Ruff; and his siblings, Janie (Robert Bennett), Betty (Charles Bennett), Nila (Kenneth Smith) and Bob. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
