He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Asbury and Thelma Asbury; and his siblings, Billy Joe Asbury, Phyllis Warfield, Donald Asbury, Aquilla Harrison and Danny Asbury.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Andrea Lawson (Eric), Shawn Asbury (Ligia) and Ashley Danielle Asbury-Estep (Steven); his grandchildren, Casey Lawson, Serenity Asbury, Marcus Asbury and Lilly Asbury; his mother-in-law Norma; and his grandmother Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
