It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee McKnight of Saint Marys, West Virginia, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McKnight and Erma McKnight; his wife Sara Little; his son Steven; and his brother Charles.
He is survived by: his son John (Anne); his grandchildren, Adam, Lily and Emme; his sister Rita Dingwall; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Blauser, Eleanor Little and Irene McKnight. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the McKnight Caring Kitchen Fund with the Pleasants Community Foundation.
