He was predeceased by : his parents, Ulysses Earl and Ina Noel Taylor Vandall; his wife Jane Ella Vandall; and his siblings, Kenny, Lloyd, Billy Vandall, Jean Surber, Pauline Turner, Betty Ward, Karen Cales and Dixie Hall.

He is survived by : his children, Danny Wayne Vandall of Hix and Melinda Gore (Jason) of Hinton; his granddaughters, Krystina and Ella Jean Gore of Hinton; and his sisters, Phyllis Foster of Hudson, NC and Mary Dolin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
