She was predeceased by: her husband Layman; her parents, Howard Simpson and Della Simpson; her siblings, Kermit, Spencer, Warren and Virginia; and her son Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, Kent (Susan) and Brenda; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Brandy), Jon-Michael and Julianna; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Nicholas and Benjamin; and her niece Jo Martin (Karen Bess).
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alzheimer Association (alz.org).
