He was predeceased by : his wife Gertrude Boggess; his daughter Lesley Ann Boggess-Wilcoxen; his grandson Joshua Allen Wilcoxen; his parents, David Rector Boggess and Rebecca Lamb Boggess; and his siblings, David Dempsey Boggess, Theodore F. Boggess and Judith Boggess Ball-Koolbaugh.
He is survived by : his son Dale Boggess of Scott Depot; his sister Doris Boggess Campbell of Charleston; and his siblings-in-law, Larry and Linda Castle.
