He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Hale of Winfield and Elbert Hale of Winfield; and his brother Elbert Jr. He is survived by: his wife Cim; his grandchildren, Honey Hale, Drew Davis and Taylor Davis; his friend Leo Davis; and his brothers, Donald Lee (Joyce) of Monroe, MI, Regis of Buffalo, WV, Keith (Tammy) of Scott Depot and Brian (Venetia) of Hurricane.
