She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hunter and Stella Virginia Callaway of Keystone, WV.; and her husband Ralph William Porterfield. She is survived by: her children, Supervisor and Virginia Jo (Ginger); her grandchildren, Erin Huffman-Bigham, Leah Huffman, Torri and Kassi Porterfield; and her brother-in-law David Michael Porterfield of Huntington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in her honor to the Hubbard Hospice House -West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave., SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
