He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Arthur and Rita Simms Arthur; and his sister Jorla Jean Markham. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ferne Ford Arthur; his stepchildren, Daniel Harris (Lydia), Naomi Okes (Craig) and David Harris (Melissa); his grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua Okes, Emily Harris and Sarah Okes; and his brother Jimmy Joe Arthur (Nona).
These roles continued in various forms before and during the COVID pandemic until his health failed him.
