He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Ferrell and Betty Ferrell Whitley; and his brother Tom Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ferrell; and his niece Shannon Ferrell Reeder of Costa Rica. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID 19 the family requests only immediate friends and family to attend the services.
