It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Ray Rickard Sr. of Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia, born in Millville, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Dewey Rickard and Carrie Rickard (Brown); and his siblings, Hazel Lickey, Glenda Lickey, Marvin and Orville Rickard.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Ann Rickard (Creamer); his children, Tesa Anderegg (Scott) of Charles Town, Denise Beans (Billy) of Shenandoah Junction, Stephanie Smith (Toby Mills) of Shenandoah Junction and David R. Rickard, Jr. of Abingdon, Maryland; and his sisters, Esther Fleming of Florida and Carrie "Libby" Anderson of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
