He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alice Geneva and Darrell D. Knotts Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Darrell David Knotts Sr. and Laura M. Knotts (Weister); his wife Katherine Knotts (Domer); his sons, Edward L. Knotts Jr. of Ranson, Jacob Knotts of Martinsburg, Benjamin Knotts of California and Adam Knotts of Martinsburg; his stepsons, Brian Newlin of Martinsburg and Albert D. Newlin Jr. of Bunker Hill; and his siblings, Louann Hough of Martinsburg, Allen Knotts (Debbie) of Berkeley Springs and Don Knotts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
