She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Elijah and Helena Margherita Rogers Snider; her husband Charles Fleming McDonald, Jr.; her siblings, Eugene Starkey, Jack Snider, Bill Snider, Robert Snider and Nova Sheets; and her stepfather Gene Perine.

She is survived by : her children, David McDonald (Robin) of Tampa, FL, Suzi Talbott (Dan), Rachel, Dee Wolfe (Richard), Donna McDonald and Jamie Boyce (Stephen); her grandchildren, Amie Kay Mentink (Scott), Missi Stephenson (Troy), Amy Hopkins (Jonathan), Ashley McDonald, Wes Talbott, Brittany McDonald (Dustin Miles) and Alexis Boyce (Seth Rebrook); her sisters-in-law, Carol and Ressie Snider; and her pets, Coal and Max. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Ministries (617 Manley Chapel Rd, Fairmont, WV 26554).
