He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar D. Peer and Eva J. Peer (Martin); his sons, Phillip Peer, Dale Peer and Gregory Jones; his sister Barbie Ward; his siblings-in-law, Robert "Bob" Krantz and Mary Hinebaugh; his nephew Robbie Peer; his niece Beth Krantz-Jarrett; and his pets, Paris and Pedro.
He is survived by : his children, Timothy Peer (Sue), David Peer (Peggy), Susie Root (Bill) and Jeffery Jones; his grandchildren, Jeanette Bendedetto (Josh), Phillip Peer (Kayelyn), Trina Weasenforth (Derek), Wendy Getz (David), Joshua Peer (Melissa), Alec Peer, Corlyss Peer, Brandi Savage, Kelsie Savage, Jessica Peer, Charité Mellon and Jake Root; his great grandchildren, Kara Bendedetto, Jemma Weasenforth, Dalton Getz, Nora Getz, Kyler McKinney, Jordan McKinney, Taylor McKinney, Bryson McKinney, Gabriel Peer, Bella Peer, Jackson Dougherty, Hudson Dougherty, Jenni Deetz, Shalyn Root, Preston Root and Nova Root; his siblings, Wayne Peer (Linda) and Darlene Krantz; and his daughter-in-law Suzanne Peer.
