He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Pyles and Rosa Pyles (Fralix); his wife Eva Pyles (Didawick); and his siblings, John Pyles, Mildred Ullery, Leona Lechliter, Evelyn Pyles, Dorothy Reel and Mary Belle Bennett.

He is survived by : his sons, Gary Pyles (Linda) of Springhill, FL and James Pyles (Sharon); his grandchildren, Tricia Wilbourne (J. B.), Jeff Pyles (Shirley), Joe Pyles, Jeremy Pyles (Miranda), Makayla Green (Jeremy) and Sean Kamp (Kasey); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Mark, Madeline, Joshua, Grayson, Dusty, Breydon, Jaelyn, Willow, Charleigh and Jeamma.

Memorial contributions may be made to Short Gap Volunteer Fire Department, 128 Knobley Road, Ridgeley, WV 26753.
