It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Jean Rice of Short Gap, West Virginia, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Vance White and Maxine Lee White Lechliter (Simpson); her siblings, Judy E. Nesselrodt and William "Henry" V. White, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Denny McGann.
She is survived by : her close friend Buffy; her husband John E. Rice; her son Richard "Pete" Rice (Rose); her granddaughters, Destiney B. Rice and Tiffaney R. Rice; her great grandchildren, Elayna R. Rice and Axel K. Rice; her sisters, Marlene Bantz (Clyde), Nancy McGann and Jodie Steward (John); her siblings-in-law, Benny Nesselrodt and Joyce White; her cousins, Ted and Linda Simpson; and her nieces and nephews, Terry, Tony, Skeeter Nesselrodt, Missy Carolan, Linn Bantz, Denny, Shawn McGann, Pam Ward and Scott Aldridge.
