She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Higginbotham and Velma Higginbotham; and her son Nicholas Pennington. She is survived by: her husband Edward Pennington; her children, James Pennington (Linda), Tony Pennington (Anna), Gregory Pennington (Carolyn), Timothy Pennington (Kathy) and Misty Peck (Eddie); her brother Veldon Higginbotham (Janice); and her sister-in-law Kathy Tully. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Goldtown Community Church (17549 Charleston Rd, Kenna, WV 25248). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
