In loving memory of Donald Gene Evans Jr. of Sistersville, West Virginia, who departed this world on May 12, 2024 at the age of 70. Donald leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Donald Gene Evans, Sr.; his son Courtney Evans; and his grandson Sawyer Austin Evans. He is survived by : his mother Catherine "Kay" Evans; his wife Joan Martin Evans of Sistersville, WV; his daughters, Shannon Hartley (Mark) of Sistersville, WV and Kylee Reed (Dillon) of Sistersville, WV; his sisters, Kitty Gruschin (Bob), Malee Haley (Bill), Jane Kinkaid, Vicci Evans and Joanna "JoJo" Orr (Stacy); his grandchildren, Erik (Cosette), Breanna (Brock), John Richard, Addison, Kolten and Everlee Jo; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ellie Mae and Naavya Louise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (600 Main St, Sistersville, WV 26175). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
